Social Services

At ACEDONE, we believe that thriving communities start with health, stability, and opportunity. Our Social Services initiatives address these critical pillars, providing culturally responsive support and creating pathways for long-term well-being for marginalized communities across Boston.

  • Health is the foundation of thriving communities. Too often, marginalized communities face barriers to mental health and wellness—whether from stigma, lack of access, or systemic inequities. Our Health Equity initiatives bring culturally responsive care directly into the community, in partnership with Equity Now and Beyond, a coalition of six Boston  immigrant-led nonprofits.

    Our Commitment

    • Direct Support: Provide mental and behavioral health services to 200 individuals annually, prioritizing community members experiencing housing instability.

    • Stronger Partnerships: Collaborate with at least 3 local organizations to expand access to counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention.

    • Community Wellness: Host quarterly health screenings and wellness programs in community centers, reaching 100+ participants each year.

Awareness & Advocacy: Launch a mental health awareness campaign across coalition communities to reduce stigma and encourage open conversations about mental wellness.

  • Safe, stable housing is the foundation for rebuilding lives. The Green Street Shelter has long served unhoused individuals in Cambridge, providing essential support to those experiencing housing instability and economic hardship. ACEDONE recently assumed operation of the shelter, bringing its community-driven approach to strengthen services and expand support for residents.

    Our Commitment

    • Safe & Dignified Shelter: Operate a 50-bed emergency shelter providing secure accommodations and daily meals.

    • Case Management: Deliver individualized, trauma-informed support to help residents access benefits, secure employment, and connect to healthcare and community resources.

    • Housing Navigation: Assist residents with housing applications, documentation, landlord engagement, and transitions into permanent homes.

    • Workforce & Stability Support: Provide job counseling and employment readiness services.

Pathways to Independence: Support residents in developing sustainable long-term housing and economic plans.
