LAWYERS FOR CIVIL RIGHTS have been working with ACEDONE providing business coaching, tax planning and compliance, financial literacy training, and other supportive services to the small business owners in our community.
Boston Public Schools have been partnering on English Language Learners equity over the past decade and supported the BPS English Language Learner Task Force, which collected data and made recommendations about changes needed in the ELL program that would reverse a legacy of discrimination against ELL students
Center to Support Immigrant Organizing (CSIO) has been a collaborative partner for seven years to grow the grassroots leadership and organizing skills of immigrant high school youth In Boston metro area and bring African, Latino and other immigrant youth to build relationships, solidarity and a strong social change movement.
ACCION international has been a financial advisory partner to ACEDONE since 2018. During the pandemic, ACCION and ACEDONE conducted webinars on revenue recovery and assisted business owners to secure access to federal financial resources i.e. Paycheck Protection Program and SBA Emergency funds.
4Boston volunteers have been a key driver towards finding the balance between social-emotional learning and academic achievement in our education programming. Throughout the week, they work together with ACEDONE staff, the 4Boston council member, and fellow ACEDONE volunteers in developing and carrying out a writing and language arts program. Volunteers remain with the group of 5-7 students assigned for the duration of the semester, monitoring academic progress and behavior.
